Boules On The Pantiles July 2023 With Index Digital

Another lovely warm sunny evening was enjoyed on the Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells on Wednesday 12th July at the annual Boule event which was attended by many local companies.

The spirit of small-town France came to Tunbridge Wells once more when Boules returned to the Pantiles. Twenty two teams from local businesses fought it out to be champions in an event organised by Index Digital which offers local companies and friends the opportunity to network in a fun atmosphere. By the end of the evening the entries had been narrowed down to two teams, the Bouledozers fielded by Accountancy firm BDO who were deprived of the cup by victorious Italian Stallions from the High Street delicatessen Arte Bianca. But the losers in the first round were able to play for The Plate and The Boule Breakers from Joseph McCarthy Mirrors beat The Lionesses entered by Lioness Consultants.

Thanks go to Rodney, Charles, Laura Collins and Jonathan Exall for their superb support on the night. Plus thanks also to La Casa Vecchia for fabulous food, drinks looking after us on the evening and Rachel Luckhurst for taking the pictures.

Some £500 was raised through the event for Mental Health Resource which is based in Tunbridge Wells. Mental Health Resource is an award-winning, local mental health charity which provides safe spaces and person-centred mental health support to help people improve their wellbeing. It provides free and non-judgemental care and its projects are designed to make people feel supported, valued and connected.
