Three New Retailers Opening In Tunbridge Wells Town Centre

Three brand new retailers are being welcomed to Royal Victoria Place and Ely Court in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Mr Simms Sweet Shop has joined the retail mix in the Fiveways mall of the shopping centre and is due to open on Thursday (8th May). Founded in 2004, Mr Simms Sweet Shop is a beloved confectionery retailer known for its nostalgic charm and wide selection of traditional sweets. With over 50 stores across the United Kingdom and globally, Mr Simms Sweet Shop transports customers back in time with its quaint décor and hand-picked assortment of delectable sweets.

Mansoor Asar, Co Owner and Franchisee, said: “I’m thrilled to bring our retro British sweet shop experience to Tunbridge Wells. We hope to create a space that evokes fond memories and brings joy to customers of all ages.”

There are also a further two new independents coming to Ely Court – Face Workshop and Sumo Donuts. They will join the eclectic mix of occupiers to this quirky space which includes Even Flow, VR Racing, SOBE Burger, Spicy ‘N’ Nice, Woofs, the Dog Groomers, Sweet Temptations Cakery, Bowl Delight and soon to open Karibu.

Georgina White, Clinic Owner and Manager of Face Workshop, said: “With over 10 years of nursing experience within the NHS and advanced training to Level 7 standard through Harley Academy in London, I am proud to bring a unique combination of medical aesthetics and dermatology to our new clinic in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Our clinic offers a wide range of skin treatments, including medical-grade facials with Allergan’s DiamondGlow™ device, SkinPen® microneedling, chemical peels, Dermalux® LED light therapy, anti wrinkle treatments and stocking leading skincare brands such as Obagi and Alumier MD to get you glowing, healthy skin.

"I am passionate about delivering evidence-based, holistic skin care that not only transforms the skin but also provides patients with a space to relax, recharge, and achieve real, lasting results.”

Sumo Donuts, who recently joined Ely Court, is already turning heads with its unapologetically bold flavours, artisan flair, and heavyweight approach to indulgence. Baked in small batches and bursting with personality, these aren’t your run-of-the-mill donuts – this is dessert with attitude. From premium glazes to outrageous toppings, every Sumo Donut is handcrafted with care, precision, and a rebellious twist that sets it apart from the crowd.
