Relax, unwind and savour some exciting dishes at Sweet Dee’s Jerk, which moved into Vauxhall Marketplace earlier this year in response to demand for somewhere to take time enjoying their food as well as still having the grab and go option in Selfridges Foodhall. As well as the dishes you may already be fans of, they have added some new ones exclusively for Vauxhall incuding the return of their much-loved loaded jerk fries. “The go to taco fix” DF Tacos, located at Oxford Street Market Halls, has been shaped by the flavours of Mexico city. The carbon neutral restaurant offers generously-filled tacos with a variety of fillings from chargrilled chicken or juicy beef brisket to oven roasted ancho mushrooms and Korean fried tofu. Mercato Metropolitano @ Elephant and Castle
Mercato Metropolitano’s first site was created at Elephant and Castle, offering a sustainable community market. This vibrant space provides the opportunity for people to come together and enjoy authentic food in an undercover outdoor area at this former paper factory site. There you will find more than 40 independent trading partners offering an eclectic range of food and drink, as well as a micro-brewery, music theatre and community events. They say they take a “global approach with a local focus” offering food from different countries while encouraging the use of locally-sourced ingredients. Mercato Metropolitano also has locations in Mayfair, Wood Wharf and Ilford.
