Trinity – A Beacon of Social Value In Tunbridge Wells

Trinity Theatre, a cornerstone of the Kent and East Sussex communities, has been at the forefront of delivering exceptional social value through its diverse range of activities.

A recent comprehensive report by RealWorth highlights the significant impact of Trinity Theatre over the last two years, creating a staggering £13.8million in Total Social Value.

This remarkable achievement translates to a social return on investment (SROI) ratio of 1:6.22 meaning that for every £1 invested in Trinity Theatre it returns £6.22 for society. This impact is largely attributed to its community-oriented activities, notably the Speech Bubbles programme in schools, Schools Workshops and the Youth Theatre.

Looking forward, Trinity Theatre is poised to triple this value over the next decade, with a projected Total Social Value of £42.8million maintaining a similar SROI ratio. This growth is expected through expanded and new initiatives in its Creative Engagement programme working with adults, family groups and those experiencing social isolation. It runs alongside the varied and vibrant artistic programme that audiences cherish – ranging from live theatre to cinema to music and stand-up, not least its annual musical theatre-infused panto which this year is the classic Sleeping Beauty.

With the introduction of their new brand developed in association with Studio&, Trinity Theatre is committed to forging deeper ties with the community, ensuring its projects and activities resonate with and support local needs and ambitions. However, none of this is possible without public support.
