Kick Off Christmas 2025 In Style In Tunbridge Wells

The Royal Tunbridge Wells Christmas Kick Off this year takes place all day on Saturday 15th November. From 10am to 5pm a Festive Fair will pedestrianise part of Mount Pleasant, outside Civic Way, with a community performance stage, market stalls and fairground attractions.
From 5pm, we will be officially launching Christmas, so please join us for the free Singalong Santa Parade. Thanks to our friends at TW Round Table, Santa will be joining us along with local singers and panto characters, who will lead us in singing carols as we walk. The parade will start from Civic Way and take a tour around the town.
At the parade this year, we are very excited to be introducing the new star in town, ‘Rudolph’s Runner’, a land train that will spend Christmas here in Tunbridge Wells. Your adventure experience will take in some special parts of the town and parks and will include asking passengers to help Rudolph find all the missing reindeers en route. Tickets are available to book on selected dates and times, perfect in the lead up to Christmas for young and old to enjoy.
At the end of the parade, around 6.45pm, we will celebrate with fireworks on Camden Road, which will be closed off for our After Party. A lovely way to celebrate in our town centre, there will be live music, bauble bingo with free prizes, and a street party with local businesses selling food and drinks, until 10pm.

Rudolph’s Runner
Join in the fun and jump aboard our new attraction, ‘Rudolph’s Runner’, for a 40-minute land train adventure. Rudolph’s Runner will spend Christmas here in Tunbridge Wells and tickets to take a trip on the train can be booked for selected dates from 16th November to 24th December. Whether you choose a full trip at £8.50 per person or a half trip at £5, there are four different stations to jump on – The Lower Pantiles, The High Street, Calverley Precinct and Calverley Grounds. The trip will take in parts of the town and parks on this scenic and unique route.
A fun, interactive adventure on which Rudolph will need your help to find the eight missing reindeers, which you will need to spot on the journey. A wonderful way to see the town through a different light and enjoy a festive experience in the lead up to Christmas, for young and old to enjoy.

Beau Nash Jolly Jaunt
If you are a fan of Celebrity Traitors and think it is so obvious when someone is lying, then let's test your skills on the Beau Nash Jolly Jaunt tour.
Beau Nash, the self-appointed Master of Ceremonies in Tunbridge Wells will take you on a tour like no other. Will there be lots of facts that you can slowly snooze through, no! Hear fanciful stories, tall tales and downright bunkum interlaced with some facts about the local area you will likely never have heard of. The question is, can you spot them?
The tour starts with a drink at the Beau Nash pub and meanders across town to Calverley Grounds from some well-earned nosh. We will tally up at that point who is on the leaderboard as fact-spotting super sleuth. The tour continues round the backstreets to finish at the Pantiles for more drinks and snacks Beau Nash style before the winner is announced and duly crowned the new Master of Ceremonies.
If you want to be educated, tested and gently insulted then come along. If you want a tour loaded with facts delivered by a professional tour guide then this isn't the tour for you.
