Gurkha House Restaurant & Bar, West Terrace
Committed to serving up authentic Nepalese dishes, Gurkha House faces the seafront in Folkestone Town Centre. Recently renovated you can enjoy delicious food in the light and spacious surroundings while taking in the lovely views of the beach and the English Channel beyond. On a visit to Gurkha House you will be taken care of by the super nice Nepalese staff, and their food is cooked with freshly made in-house ingredients always using the finest produce and the best ingredients. There are a variety of breakfasts to choose from as well as rolls and baps, porridge, omlettes and a variety of egg dishes – as well as a selection of Gurkha House Specials such as Pancake with Bacon or Fruits, Maple Syrup, Spicy Scrambled Egg with Chorizo on Sourdough or Avocado with Poached Egg & Feta on Sourdough. Brunch is seved from 9am to 2pm, but if you don't get there until after this time, you will find even better Nepalese foodie surprises later in the day.

Django’s Café & Petit Bistro, Rendezvous Street
A real local’s spot, Django's is a licensed cafe bar on a corner in the old town of Folkestone which dishes out a delightful blend of British and Mediterranean flavours "with some Asian thrown in" for a one-of-a-kind culinary adventure. On Tripadvisor is says Django's is “undoubtedly the best and most talked about breakfast in town”. Offering a good atmosphere and great breakfasts, you will find it on the edge of the Creative Quarter – and it is open 9am to 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday. If you are up for a challenge then try the full Django's breakfast – it's quite a handful for one person!

Marleys Bistro, South Street
If you are loooking for great upmarket brunch choices down by the Harbour Arm, then head to Marleys on South Street. This independent bistro in Folkestone was founded by Mark and Charly right in the heart of the town’s Creative Quarter in 2018. They say that “Marleys is built around one simple idea: food should feel like home, but taste unforgettable” and it is now known for its bustling brunches, as well as serving lunch and dinner on Wednesdays to Saturdays. From dishes such as breakfast burrito and maple-bacon & honeycomb pancakes to smashed avo on toast and The Eggs Benny, there is plenty to choose from, including a children’s menu if you want to make it a family outing.
