The countdown to Christmas is underway and what better way to get in the festive spirit than with a trip to the stunning city of Canterbury and the chance to get a few gifts ticked off your to-do list?
The city will get this year’s celebrations off to a magical start with the annual Christmas Lights Parade on 15th November – plus there will be the return of a 600-year-old fayre to the grounds of the Cathedral – so head along there, soak up the festive atmosphere and add a little extra sparkle with a visit to Justin Richardson!

Justin Richardson’s workshop is already busy creating those special pieces, but they are still taking orders for Christmas!
Following on from a very successful Goldsmiths Fair 2024 exhibition, they welcome many new pieces of jewellery to their shelves this season. In particular, is their stunning Tahitian Pearl Ring – hand crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold with a faceted round Tahitian Pearl with Diamond set claws, which is priced £4,750.
Also, just out the workshop are their Geometric earrings featuring a pair of London Blue Topaz & Rhodolite Garnets set in 18ct Yellow Gold, priced at £4,900.
For that special someone who is oh-so difficult to buy for, what about their handmade sterling silver Christmas tree decorations? Choose from an Angel, a Reindeer, Snowflake or Crescent Moon – priced just £50 each.
There is also an amazing selection of Justin’s own hand-crafted watches. Justin Richardson is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, but in the run up to Christmas they have announced some Extended Christmas Opening Hours:
- Friday 15th November 10am to 8pm
- Thursday 5th December 10am to 8pm
- Sunday 15th December 10am to 4pm
- Sunday 22nd December 10am to 4pm
They will then be closed from Wednesday 25th December to Friday 3rd January (inclusive), with normal hours resuming on Saturday 4th January 2025.
