Autumn maybe upon us, but there is no reason to give up on your summer glow. By following our skincare tips and tricks, you can have healthy glowing skin for the start of autumn.

1. Choose a body moisturiser with hydrating ingredients

Moisturising your skin is an important daily ritual to adopt, but even more so when you want your summer glow to last that little bit longer as it will help to prevent flaky skin and dryness. Look for nourishing formulas to help an existing tan look fresh and glowing by boosting hydration. We love Delph Aftersun Lotion, £1.99 for 150ml, with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera – it's easily absorbed and non-greasy.

2. Don’t skip exfoliation

Gentle exfoliating is the way forward if you want to keep your summer glow because it will help to eliminate old cells on the surface of your skin, so your tan will appear smoother, resulting in brighter, softer skin.

3. Apply a soothing face mask

The summer months can leave your skin feeling and looking dry, if you want to give off a post-holiday glow try applying a soothing, hydrating face mask to help boost skin elasticity and brighten your complexion.

4. Try glow-boosting bronzing face drops

Top up your tan by incorporating self-tanning drops into your daily skincare routine. For a buildable, skin-nourishing, and long-lasting summer glow, you can add 1-3 bronzing face drops to your daily moisturiser.

5. Stay hydrated

Hydrate your skin from within – the body’s main source of water is through diet. Drinking six to eight glasses each day is a good aim to stay well-hydrated on a normal day. So even though the temperature might be dropping, don’t cut back on your water intake because this will keep your skin plump and fresh. If you find it hard to drink pure water, try adding lemon, ginger, or cucumber to give an extra dimension in flavour.
