This summer, Live at The Pantiles returns with an exciting new chapter – bringing unforgettable live music to the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells every Thursday evening from 28th May until 3rd September… and it’s completely free to attend.

Set against the iconic Georgian colonnade, the much-loved series has become a staple of the town’s cultural calendar. Now, as part of The Pantiles’ refreshed identity and creative vision – “Where the town comes alive” – the 2026 season opens its doors wider than ever before, inviting everyone to experience the magic of live music in a truly historic setting, without the ticket price.

In recognition of the ongoing cost-of-living pressures facing many, The Pantiles has made the decision to remove the previous £7.50 entry fee, ensuring that these special evenings remain accessible to all.

Martin O’Meara, Estate Manager at The Pantiles, said: “We are delighted to make Live At The Pantiles free to attend this year, creating an inclusive and accessible event that brings the community together. We want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy outstanding live music, soak up the unique atmosphere of The Pantiles, whilst supporting the diverse mix of hospitality, retail and independent businesses based here.”

The 2026 season opens on the last Thursday in May with an uplifting performance from KYJO, a dynamic youth orchestra delivering an energetic mix of classic big band and contemporary jazz, alongside funk, rock and Latin rhythms – setting the tone for a vibrant and inclusive summer ahead.

What's more, Mousehall Distillery and Winery, one of the events sponsors, will be hosting a pop-up bar, and the first 10 customers on opening night receive a pair of tickets for a tour and tasting at the estate.

June’s line-up continues the momentum with a series of crowd-pleasing performances, including Our Own Way, a celebrated Fleetwood Mac tribute band; the ever-popular The Jive Aces, firm favourites with Live at The Pantiles audiences; Jonah’s Wail, a versatile, high-energy party band guaranteed to get audiences on their feet; and the spectacular Abalicious, bringing the timeless hits of ABBA to life in a dazzling finale to the month.

The Pantiles is proud to offer a place where the community can come together, unwind and enjoy world-class entertainment – completely free of charge.
