Watch the Wimbledon Finals Weekend at the inaugural RTW FANZONE

Next month you can enjoy all the excitement of the Wimbledon Finals Weekend on the big screen in Calverley Grounds in Tunbridge Wells.

There’s been Murray’s Mount, Henman Hill ….. now RTW Together BID is bringing you Calverley Grounds’ The Royal Ridge where you can watch all the live action from 11am on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July on the huge 5m x 3m screen. So take your friends and family and make a weekend of it!

RTW Together BID is working with some of the town’s incredible hospitality businesses to bring you pre-ordered mouth-watering packages for lunch, afternoon tea or strawberries & cream (well it wouldn’t be Wimbledon without them!) You can get pre-order packages from The Pantiles Café & Bar, Taste Wells and Arte Bianca. Simply visit www.rtwtogether.com/rtwfanzone, select your package and contact the cafe directly to purchase by Wednesday 10 July (payment must be made in advance). Then you just pick it up from the cafe in the morning before you head over to Calverley Grounds (you may want to take a coolbag to store them in, which can be purchased from The Range, Lakeland or Jeremy’s Homestore).

Onsite, there will also be a fully-licensed bar from Fonthill Brewing Co. throughout the two days from 11am-6pm (depending on the finish time of the finals, they may stay open later at their discretion). The fully-stocked bar includes lagers, ales, ciders, wine, sparkling wine, Pimms, G&T’s, Aperol Spritz and soft drinks. The bar will take both cash and card/digital payments.

There will also be a mobile café from The Lodge offering hot drinks, hot dogs, cakes and fresh strawberries & cream. The team at The Calverley Grounds Café will also be offering a full lunch menu, soft drinks, hot drinks and ice creams.

Children’s entertainment will include face painting and garden games, hosted by five amazing local charities; Demelza, Taylor-Made Dreams, Age UK Tunbridge Wells, Restore Counselling and The Counselling Centre, you can simply make a small donation each time you play.

There is some deck chair seating, available on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to bring your own chairs or rugs. There will be an area for people on rugs to the front of the seated area, please note that some seating will be on the slope of The Royal Ridge to give everyone a good view of the screen.
