Tidehouse, Whitstable

The Wild Goose – a cocktail bar and food counter – is tucked away in the bustling farmers market of The Goods Shed, in Canterbury. Eggs Eleven, Tunbridge Wells

Marleys Bistro, Folkestone
If you are loooking for great upmarket brunch choices down by the Harbour Arm, then head to Marleys on South Street. This independent bistro in Folkestone was founded by Mark and Charly right in the heart of the town’s Creative Quarter in 2018. They say that “Marleys is built around one simple idea: food should feel like home, but taste unforgettable” and it is now known for its bustling brunches, as well as serving lunch and dinner on Wednesdays to Saturdays. Baked, Hove
There are three relaxed and informal areas for you to choose from on a visit to Baked in Hove for a spot of brunch, including a covered heated terrace for those who like to dine outdoors as the weather get warmer. Lily’s, Canterbury
Lily’s Social Kitchen opened in August last year on Guildhall Street in Canterbury and is a social enterprise showcasing the skills of its trainees in a commercially driven environment. With a focus on fresh, local and tasty produce head there for a delicious brunch and either sit outside watching the bustling city centre life unfold or relax inside the cosy café itself. Lily’s is open 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays.

St Kilda, Tunbridge Wells
While offering a delicious spot of brunch, St Kilda also serves up a taste of Australia, when you make a visit to the café situated on Camden Road at the top of town. St Kilda is named after a Melbourne suburb that is best known for its vibrant food and drink scene. For something a little different enjoy brunch aboard The Bus Café in Margate. Having converted a double decker bus into a mobile kitchen and café, the owners believe “fresh, good quality food can only come from fresh, good quality ingredients”, so they use local farms and organisations for as much of their produce as possible with their breakfasts served on organic sourdough from Grain & Hearth in Whitstable. And their success can be seen in winning an award in the National Breakfast & Brunch Awards 2020 among others. Casa Da Claudia is a unique, rustic café, just off the high street in Tunbridge Wells. Django’s Café & Petit Bistro, Folkestone
A real local’s spot, Django's is a licensed cafe bar on a corner in the old town of Folkestone which dishes out a delightful blend of British and Mediterranean flavours "with some Asian thrown in" for a one-of-a-kind culinary adventure.
