While it may conjure images of Christmas and a stunningly snowy setting, Lapland offers a unique destination for your honeymoon all year round. Finland’s most northern region is ideal for a couple looking for an active holiday, where in the summer there are endless nights and the opportunity to go hiking and mountain biking. In Lapland you can also choose to explore nature through visiting the frozen lakes or going on a reindeer safari, or simply have a spa day in the sauna or snuggled up together by a roaring fire. Explore the South Pole and its unique wildlife from the ship, or opt for an expedition vessel to get a closer look. Take the chance to go whale watching, see an array of penguins, seals and sea birds. Due to conditions, Antarctica is inaccessible at certain times of year, so this would be a honeymoon destination for those looking to go from November to March.
Vietnam
Known for its beautiful beaches, rivers, cities and culture, as well as a friendly welcome, Vietnam in Southest Asia is a great destination for those looking to honeymoon. Relax and unwind on sandy beaches such as Phu Quoc, Con Son and An Bang or soak up the excitement in Ho Chi Minh City where there is a mix of culture and history to explore with its museums, temples, palace and cathedral. Atacama Desert
Located in the north of Chile, Atacama Desert offers the chance to spend some alone time as a couple while take in the location’s natural beauty. From the stunning Licancabur volcano, to the geyser field at El Tatio, there are many amazing sites to visit. Sumatra
A nature-lover’s paradise, Sumatra is an island in western Indonesia with beautiful rainforests, beaches, volcanoes and plenty of wildlife.
